Originally from Muskegon, Michigan, Dr. Santo has over 30 years experience in the advancement of clinical Chiropractic. He received his BBA degree from Western Michigan University in addition to his pre-chiropractic studies. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, in 1979, graduating with Honors and completing both parts of the National Boards. He was a teaching resident at Palmer from 1979-1980 going into private practice in August of 1980. Dr. Santo has been in private practice in Tyler, Texas for the past 26 years. Dr. Santo is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and ACA Council on Neurology. Dr. Santo is licensed to practice in Texas and Michigan.

Additional Training


Dr. Santo has done extensive postgraduate work in Spinal Biomechanics becoming a Fellow of Applied Spinal Biomechanical Engineering, (F.A.S.B.E.), completion of Whiplash - The Masters Program presented by Spine Research Institute of San Diego as well as advanced work in Activator Technique of Chiropractic, Sports Injuries and Clinical Radiological Analysis. In April of 1994, Dr. Santo graduated from a course through Logan Chiropractic College consisting of over 300 hours in Chiropractic Neurology and passed the Neurology Board Exam in August of 1995, becoming board certified in Chiropractic Neurology. He has also taken additional studies consisting of 25 hours in Rehabilitation for the Primary Care Practitioner and additional courses in manipulation at Logan Chiropractic College. Dr. Santo is still actively taking additional courses in Neurology. Recently he added certification in ART (Active Release Technique) a system of diagnosing and treating soft tissue problems. Dr. Santo has also received training from Dr. Mally in the treatment of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. He has also completed a Designated Doctor Certification Training Program for the AMA 4th Edition Guidelines.

Practice Specialties


Dr. Santo has special emphasis on family Chiropractic care, including pediatrics, plus an interest in Chiropractic Neurology and traumatic injuries of the spine; such as in automobile injures, sports injuries and on-the-job injuries.
